Sirius, GM, AIG: Where Is the Leadership in American Boardrooms?
      sirius shareholders should not worry.

howard stern just applied to become a bank and he will lead sirius out of this mess in a brand new cadillac (hummer?) driven by the kamikaze pilot mel karmizan.

a little more research would have offered the amount of debt that these companies have in relation to their cash position. that makes a ton of difference.

i only follow one company on your list and their debt is zero.

gas stations in nj (and maybe elsewhere) are in competition with master card and visa. don't use your credit card, pay with cash and save 10cts per gallon of gas.

cash still seems to be king.

      Apple’s Uncharacteristically Sloppy Execution
an idle comment about apple's "growing pains" is quite a stretch. every company and the usa government should have such pains.

and as far as a comparison between bank america and apple, one is run as a real company and the other has taken as much liberty as possible by using the government as its partner. apple doesn't need a bailout or a government guarantee to make a deal.

      Microsoft Unencouraging
msft isn't too big, it is mismanaged and has been so for years. no leadership and no imagination. nothing new to put in the pot, just copying other companies inventions.

gates has been virtually off the case for years and that leaves ballmer to carry the flag. nuff said.

Who's to Blame for IndyMac's Failure?
speculator watcher has the answer. just tell the world that the jews did it. every other word in his treatise is schwartz or israel or soros. linking israel to iran is a classic stretch. and that brings out the sycophants.

mr speculator should not try to couch his words around a long winded diatribe. he probably would feel right at home, in his brown shirt, while walking through the streets of yorkville in manhattan many years ago.

last comment: if merrill lynch or goldman said sell indymac when it was trading at 68 cents, down from $45 they would have been laughed out of the business. schumer should have made his speech last year and then some nay sayers would have more of a leg to stand on.

until sprint can make an ordinary phone connection in the greater nyc area, even a little close to verizon service, then sprint shouldn't be used as a poster child for extolling its virtues.

disclaimer: former sprint customer for well over 10 years.

      Dell: No Angles Left?
      mr unreal expert:
<Yes, Jobs has been a terrible CEO in the past and the inconsistent earnings proves that. His terrible decisions to resist Windows ostrasized his products. This was responsible for the tiny market Apple was stuck with for many year>

get a life. steve jobs made such bad decisions that the value of apple is greater than hewlett and close to the value of dell & hewlett combined. jobs never made his own chips and fyi, i have a
128 K mac in the garage that still works, just a tad slow.

and finally, the proof of the quality of the business is cash in the bank. apple has 19+ billion with zero debt. more than most companies in the usa and that includes hewlett and dell combined and if you take off msft debt from cash. it's pretty close.

don't buy anything for your wife from victoria's secret because you don't like their advertising. a wonderful rationale for making a decision. similar to your disdain for apple.

      What's Better: BlackBerry or iPhone?
rimm should thank apple for forcing cell phones to the real world. having verizon or palm or nokia or even rimm set the standards is a joke.

the touch screen will become ubiquitous and the keyboard will disappear like the floppy disk. apple will maintain its position because of safari. as of now, no company can come close to it or even conceive of a way to compete with it. sort of like the mac computers and ipods.
