Long awaited, now there: Microsoft has brought its Office package in Apple’s Mac App Store. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive are available as single downloads. A prerequisite for use is an annual subscription of Office 365, which costs 69 euros for single users. So far, the Mac Office was available directly from Microsoft. By integrating with the Mac App Store, updates to the store are now being made – a big step forward for Mac users over Microsoft’s questionable AutoUpdate. Audio streaming specialist Sonos apparently wants to leave the home’s four walls of its users – and this year bring their own wireless over-the-ear headphones.
