Office Opening: Office Now in the Mac Store
Long awaited, now there: Microsoft has brought its Office package in Apple’s Mac App Store. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive are available as single downloads. A prerequisite for use is an annual subscription of Office 365, which costs 69 euros for single users. So far, the Mac Office was available directly from Microsoft. By integrating with the Mac App Store, updates to the store are now being made – a big step forward for Mac users over Microsoft’s questionable AutoUpdate. Sonos brings its own headphones
Audio streaming specialist Sonos apparently wants to leave the home’s four walls of its users – and this year bring their own wireless over-the-ear headphones. The novelty of Californians is likely to be easy to integrate into the Sonos world, and much like the Sonos speakers support dozens of streaming services and voice control. That Sonos works with virtually any audio service could be a decisive advantage over competitors such as Apple subsidiary Beats, which are limited to services such as Apple Music. For this, the Sonos headphones would not only have to rely on Bluetooth, but also offer WiFi capabilities. The price is AppleInsider with high ending $ 300 or more.

So, Apple pays photographers
It meets no poor: Apple wants to reward the participants of this week launched “Shot on iPhone” competition now, after all. Originally no bonuses and fees were announced for the photographers, which led to protests in the network. Now Apple has updated the text on the contest page. It says, “Apple firmly believes that artists should be rewarded for their work, and photographers taking the ten winning photos will receive a license fee for using those photos on billboards and other Apple marketing channels.” How high the payment will be, is not known. Photographers suggested $ 10,000 per winning photo this week. “Shot on iPhone” is now available until 7th of February.
