Here comes the handbag for the high-tech lady of today. The French veterans of Louis Vuitton have shown the first handbags with screens on their show “LV Cruise 2020” in New York. One bag has an AMOLED display with the HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,440 pixels on the front, a second model even comes with two screens. During the presentation on the runway, various photos from New York and the demo of an internet browser were displayed. According to Engadget, Louis Vuitton sees the “extension of the smartphone” in the high-tech handbags, because in the future the mobile phone can remain in the pocket for watching videos. Whether, when and at what price the high-tech bags come on the market, Louis Vuitton still retains for himself. However, a special offer for the Tchibo Prize is not expected.

Tinder brings Lite app – just for engagements?

Love, calorie-free: Tinder works on a “Lite” -App (Photo: Tinder)

If the flirt app Tinder appears as a “lite version”, questions arise. Do you use the “real” Tinder when looking for a partner to marry – and “Tinder Lite” only for engagements? But the creators of the amorous app did not think that way. “Tinder Lite”, which is currently being developed and appears to be “coming soon” according to Digital Trends, is to be significantly reduced in terms of technology – and thus also to function well with slow internet connections and on weaker smartphones. The Diet Tinder could thus attract millions of new users who have only simple cell phones or live in regions with poor network connectivity, for example in Southeast Asia. For CEO Mandy Ginsberg, the new app is an important building block in maintaining Tinder’s growth, with paid subscriptions up 38 percent in Q1 2019 compared to the same quarter last year.

Emerged for the first time in the wild – the Apple Card (Photo: Ben Geskin)

At the end of March, Apple introduced the “Apple Card” in a keynote address – its own credit card, which can be used in collaboration with Goldman Sachs wherever shops are not yet offering the Apple Pay payment service. Now Apple has apparently started a test for employees, in which the card is used for the first time in the wild. The always well-connected Leaker Ben Geskin shows a first photo – on which he has written his own name on the map in order to protect his source.

Accordingly, the Apple Card is as announced not made of plastic, but of titanium. And for security reasons, the credit card number is not printed, it is only available via Apple’s Wallet app on the associated iPhone. The most interesting thing about the photo: For the first time you can see the case in which Apple delivers the card. According to AppleInsider, it contains an NFC chip that automatically connects the card to iPhone and Wallet. The coupling should be about as easy as working with the AirPods. As launch date Apple calls so far only the summer of 2019.

The end of the LEAD: Mattel explains Uno

The family fun Uno is 50 years old this year. And so the big question of all Uno card players has been for half a century: Can a player who gets four cards aufgerummt put two more drauflegen – and thus bring the next player equal to six penalty cards? Uno manufacturer Mattel has this question with a tweet now once and officially clarified: No, he can not! The player must take the four cards from the pile, the six-trick is illegal. “But we know that you’ve tried that,” Mattel quips in his tweet, for which there were now almost 80,000 likes.

If someone puts down a +4 card, you must draw 4 and your turn is skipped. You can not put down a +2 to make the next person draw 6. We know you’ve tried it. #UNO pic.twitter.com/wOegca4r0h
